Mobile App - Onboarding: Add an existing wallet by QR Code

IMPORTANT - you need to have the ArConnect browser extension with an active wallet installed first.

Add an existing wallet by QR Code during onboarding instructions

1. Download ArConnect Mobile: https://www.arconnect.io/download

2. Select “Add an existing wallet”

3. Enable or don’t enable analytics.

   1. This is optional and does not impact the functionality of the wallet

4. Select “QR Code”

   1. IMPORTANT - Make sure to grant the ArConnect Mobile App the ability to use your mobile device’s camera. If you don’t, you will not be able to import via QR Code

5. Open your ArConnect browser extension

6. In the browser extension, go to the Settings

7. In the browser extension Settings screen, select Wallets

8. In the browser extension Wallet List screen, select the wallet you would like to add to the mobile app

9. In the browser extension Wallet Setting screen, click the Generate QR Code button and enter the password to your ArConnect browser extension wallet

10. With your ArConnect Mobile App, scan the Wallet QR code from your browser extension

11. Confirm you want to import the wallet

12. Create a password

    1. IMPORTANT - There is no reset password. Please make sure to save your password someplace secure

    2. Password requirements is a 5 character minimum

13. Enable biometric authentication

    1. This is optional and does not impact the functionality of the wallet

14. Choose your ArConnect user interface theme

15. Finished

Your wallet is now added! You can now start exploring the Permaweb.
